Vacation Time..

 Start your engines...

Our family vacation starts...now!

Over the rivers and many swamps too....

But its all good...because Florida is waiting on us!

 Aww...We made it...just in the nick of time!

Our hind ends...were...super..flat...

Florida is a ...long way from our pasture...

 Each morning.....Sweetheart and I...would get up early..(Because we are funny that way..)

Walk down to the beach...

And witness the most awesome sun-rises.

A sight like this instantly puts us in...grateful mode!

 We were provided with bicycles!  The fun kind...

Seats big enough...check

Tires full of beach air...check

Hardly any traffic....check

I felt like one of the characters on the show...Cedar Cove!

 We spent much time on the beach.

Sometimes.... we had..visitors enjoying the water right along with us!

 Bye..sweet bird.

I hope your breakfast was..good..

I had french toast...and you had....raw fish!

 The kiddos...went diving...

While there were not too many shells on the beach...

A little ways out....(In the deep...sharkie water)

The kids found these treasures on the ocean floor.

I would have been scared.  But not the kiddos...aren't they brave...

We took turns cooking supper for everyone. ( Well...not everyone at the beach...just our family..)

On this night...we had..Bananas Foster for dessert.

The supper was good too... (What-ever it was I am sure it was..good)

 Toys follow our Grands...where-ever they go..

If you get too much sun on the beach...

Just come to the beach house...and play with the toys...

Every evening...another walk on the beach just to watch...

the sun-set.

Its hard to beat...a beach sun-set.

People from all over just stand around on the sand...and watch.

Little thank-full prayers....going up from all over.

After a wonderful week on the beach...

Our family packed up and...headed back..

We are all sporting our Florida tans...well...some of us are more pink than tan..

Farm Works..

 A lot of work goes on at the...pasture.

The girl chicks are enduring the heat...

Instead of complaining...they just produce..eggs!

 Our oldest Grand...headed to church camp.  We knew she would be fine and have fun because...her Moma was going along.  ( Counselor..)

Our two younger Grands would be.....spending time with us!

Cherries are good for....strength..I think..Anyway....I ate my share...

Grands are....fun!  Like my zinnias...they bring us joy!

 Middle Grand and I...like to cook.  We did a little baking.  Her apple pie...is looking good...

 Hmmm....It appears she has done this..before..

Yep...I love to cook and bake..but I'm ...lazy! 

 We had good directions...

We used our hands...too...

 And while we were rolling in the...dough...the youngest Grand...was

doing some rolling of a different sort...

 A storm loomed over ....but past us right up.

The evening was and eerie .. green.

 When camp was over...

Oldest Grand..had her birthday party....at the pool!

Yea...it was one busy week!

 Dearest friends..are very generous with their pool.

The Grands swim here...all summer.

And ..often have their birthdays...at the pool.

It appears Dearest Friends dogs...love to play in the pool...too!

Life...

I love it!
